Vancouver Art Gallery
The Vancouver Art Gallery also known as VAG was established in 1931. The art gallery of Vancouver is one of the largest art galleries in the country Canada. The VAG is a very famous museum in Vancouver. This gallery has a collection of approximately ten thousand pieces of artwork, which includes major artworks by Marc Chagall, the Group of Seven, Jeff Wall and Emily Carr. This gallery has a large collection of art pictures and photographs. The VAG provides gallery exhibitions of its permanent collection and regularly provides hosts for touring exhibitions. The VAG building was designed by Francis Rattenbury. Francis Rattenbury was an English architect born in 1867 and died on 1935. This architect is very known because he had designed several notable buildings of the city such as: The Empress Hotel and British Columbia Parliament Buildings.
